Nation - Terry Pratchett For those who may have been a bit disappointed by Robinson Crusoe, Pratchett’s novel would certainly makeup for it. This is truly a beautiful book. Through the split narrative format (Mau and Daphne) Pratchett allows his readers the opportunity to explore so many ideas, perceptions and varying viewpoints. Even though this is a novel for young adults, it’s surprisingly sophisticated. As Pratchett states in his author’s note: “This book contains some Island of the Blue Dolphins.
