Lips Touch: Three Times - Jim Di Bartolo, Laini Taylor Three short stories, each one remarkably rendered with beautiful prose accompanied by excellent illustrations. They kind of remind me of the old German and Russian fairy tales I used to read as a kid… at times, a little eerie, but also having certain quirky elements that can make you smile. I’m particularly thinking about the first story in this collection “Goblin Fruit" with Kizzy’s grandmother’s last words to her granddaughter: “Remember my knife, Sunshine? … Don’t you dare steal it out of my coffin.” Kind of reminds me of something my Lithuanian grandparents would say. ;)
